And no your not lucky. Unbenounced to you at the time was the fact that you can get an option 40 (or 18X for that matter) if your prior service. Big Army thinks they have you by the balls if you want to come back in, so they usually don't offer you those contracts. I can assure you that there is no shortage of guys wanting those contracts.
